Garden Living started with a simple idea: gardeners are some of the most generous, patient, and kind people around, and they deserve a space built just for them. Not a dating app with a garden filter. Not a general forum where plant talk gets lost in the noise. A proper community, where every question is welcome and every harvest worth celebrating.

Our aim is to give every gardener, from first-time windowsill growers to lifelong allotment holders, a home online. Somewhere to ask, share, and connect with people who understand the quiet satisfaction of something you've grown with your own hands.

About the founder

Simon Lawson

Simon is the Chairman of Lawsons Group, an independent timber, building materials and landscaping merchant with roots stretching back to 1921. As a fourth-generation member of a family business built on trust, community, and long-term relationships, Simon understands better than most what it means to tend something carefully over time.

That same philosophy sits at the heart of Garden Living. Simon founded the community with a simple belief: that the connections people form through a shared love of growing, whether over a fence, on an allotment or online, are worth nurturing.
